So when someone dumps big piles of leafs onto alley, and onto city road, interfering with traffic use of city alley & road, the city does NOTHING? Has staff seen conditions? Who is responsible for "no enforce" reply and policy?
We are sorry, but the Building Code of Virginia does not address leaves as trash. You may wish to call the Department of Public Works at (804)646-0999 and ask them if this falls under their jurisdiction.
This "SeeClickFix" system should inform proper official to fix problem, instead of miss-directing to wrong office and then instructing customer to contact different city department. Expect calls to 646-0999 result in getting 311 call center, instead of directly to Public Works. PLEASE IMPROVE PROCESS!
Your concern has been received and forwarded to the Department of Public Works (CRS# 20020925652) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 804-646-7000. We appreciate your communication that helps us in “Building The Best Richmond” together.
