The green LEFT-TURN arrow should be FIRST in the timing cycle of these traffic lights. When driving southbound on Route 9W, drivers wanting to make the lefthand turn at the fork onto Route 32 should be allowed to make their left turn FIRST. What is currently happening is that traffic on 9W northbound accelerates lethargically, and southbound drivers try to beat the light and make the lefthand turn, directly into oncoming traffic. The traffic light needs to be reset so that the green LEFT-TURN arrow comes first. That would avoid this driver confusion and road rage when drivers cut in front of each other.
