This was a couple of months ago so bringing it back up. Can you please put a yield to pedestrian sign on Poplar and Central?

I haven’t gotten an update on this and the other night my dog and I almost got hit by a car. I had to scream so the car would stop and was pretty shook up. Can you please put a yield to pedestrian sign here before someone gets hurt? This crosswalk has heavy foot traffic because of the entrance to the park.

In-road yield to pedestrian signs will be placed at intersections throughout the City beginning in the spring. In the meantime we will install fluorescent yellow pedestrian crossing signs at this intersection. Please also note that the City plans to install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), user-actuated flashing pedestrian crossing signs at Central Ave and North St as well as Central Ave and Grace St.

This is still a problem. Please install a light or speed humps. It has only gotten worse

Intersection is already posted with pedestrian crossing signs... will conduct accident study to see if the intersection meets criteria for a flashing pedestrian sign
