The first speed limit sign on Pendleton Ave. itself, is not until nearly 1/2 mile from Memorial Dr. (PAST Bellamy School) and it’s covered by overgrowth AND is mis-aligned—-both of which was reported on this forum over a month ago, but not yet corrected.
There should be a speed limit sign on Pendleton within 500 feet or less after entering it from Memorial Dr.

You'll be encouraged to call the Police department and at that point you'll be told "we can't do anything unless we catch them" (love that line)

This is a systemic issue city wide that seems to continue. It took me 3 years to get an Issue sorta kinda resolved that's now back to where it was in the beginning.

I've called and called and called... I'm to the point where I'm fully convinced that the Police are either overwhelmed or just flat out do not care.

The part that's even more discouraging is there is literally 1..... YES 1 out of 9 city councilors on this forum (Ward 7 Councilor Courchesne) that is actually Involved, making a difference. Where are the rest? That's Big slap in the face as far as I'm concerned.

You know, I've said in that area you speak of, about parking on both sides of the street for about 1 1/2 YEARS. I know there's not a lot you can do about it, but we own our houses and we cannot even drive down the road. And we pay a lot in taxes too. I hope that nobody ever has an emergency, because you can barely fit a car down the road, forget about emergency vehicles. And the thing that gets me is the places where some of the people park on the street, they have a empty driveway. Meh.

The police department is aware of speeding issues throughout the city. Officers have been advised to do traffic enforcement when able to, meaning in between other calls for service. This problem on Oakridge and Pendleton will be passed down to officers on the street and we will attempt to catch speeders in the area and take the appropriate actions with them.

I still think there should be odd and even parking rules since nothing else works. I PAY $6.600 PER YEAR for taxes to live on this street.which is sick. to look at this crap.
