I sincerely believe that the people charged with enforcing the laws in the city of Arvada believe that they are good, honest, and doing a good job. The unfortunate aspect of that is that they also think they are entrusted with interpreting the law, too. The reality of that means they enforce the law unevenly, and unfairly because they decide which laws will be enforced, when they will be enforced, and on whom. If they like you, you are wealthy, or you are related, then the laws rarely apply. If, however, you are not in their "group," then anything goes, and they will "find" a law, or some obscure aspect of the law to fit the situation they need to cite you.
It is so sad because the "think" they are being righteous when all they are doing is persecuting those citizens who not fit their "mold."

It's now 2018, the problem still exists, but at least it was logged....

Note the first post where it says, "This issue has been logged, and it will be cleaned up when schedule permits." That post from the city was made June 10, 2011 - over seven years ago. It's not been fixed in seven years, and it's not likely ever to be fixed.

The city really needs a graffiti task force. Maybe get some volunteers from local high schools looking to add community service to their college resumes?

I notice that is is now listed as an "unaffiliated" request. I guess that means it is unattached to any city, but, as you can see from the first response, the City of Arvada did respond, at least in writing. I guess it became easier for them just to cancel their affiliation than to fix any problems. That first report goes back to 2011!

This problem still exists after being reported, and "logged" in 2011. I guess they haven't had any time in the last nine years to get to the issue.

If you are on this site, and following any of these posts, it is important to note the city's response to this was to change their affiliation rather than address any problem. I do not know of a single problem posted here that was fixed in any way.

The City of Arvada doesn't care about what happens on their side. They do not have the time, or the inclination either to monitor this log, or to do anything about any of the posts.
