I live near the recently installed beeping pedestrian crosswalks on the intersection of S University Ave and Tappan Ave. I'm happy there are installations to help the visually impaired, but it seems the volume of the beeping is overly loud. I am approximately 200 feet from the crosswalk and can hear the constant beeping with my windows closed and blinds drawn.

Is there any way the volume could be lowered? Thank you for your assistance.
