Deskripsyon

There is no place in Newhallville for kids to congregate and use computers. If someone wants to run a program or have a speaker there is nowhere to meet.

The business center on Shelton would be a great place for a community center.

Im from the Thompson Street Youth Coalition is interested in organizing and running the community center and along with providing office space for the non profit to run there programs, to find out how to help contact me at 203-285-0752 or email me at javaughn_harris@yahoo.com.

Lou Cox from Channel 1 helped Javaughn connect to Our Place Youth Group on Ivy Street. JJ, would keep us updated as to how that goes.

I have put in a call to Yale as well as an email to Higher One.

Have you thought about using the sub-station again?

i haven't thought about using the sub station again, but we are looking for a space the can house or office as well as a community room ran by us where we can hold our programs and activities and other community organizations could be more than welcome to use

Yeah something similar to the Rose Center, but more grassroots and having the teens and youth involved with all the planning of activities that take place at the center.
