FYI: "When a holiday falls on a trash and recycling collection day, collections will "slide" to the next day for the rest of the week after the holiday through Saturday. For example, ...in neighborhoods with twice-weekly trash collections, if the holiday occurs on a Monday, Monday and Thursday collections will be made Tuesday and Friday, and Tuesday and Friday collections will be made Wednesday and Saturday."

(But I agree, trash & recycling collection was missed entirely last week due to the snow storm, so cans are a bit full today.)

We found this out today but calling the city. Hopefully, They do pick up the recycling---and the trash they previously missed collecting. Also, I could add in three Christmas trees that are still in our alley waiting apparently for next Christmas.

The three trees were put out for pickup by the city late by the residents. The trees appeared like a week after the last scheduled pickup time for trees. Apparently, we're going to find out if the trees will still be out in the alley at Christmas time this year for anyone to take if they want them....
