However, as we have investigated this problem in the recent past and discussed with you, this is a private property issue, one that you as the property owner will have to solve. As you recall, we suggested that the drainage swale between the outlet of the one pipe, connecting to the inlet of the downstream pipe, could be modified to better direct the flow of stormwater into the downstream pipe. It would be your decision as to how to accomplish this.
