Cars go so fast up and down 55th Street. Even with the crosswalk and the signs...

Oakland's streets are in serious need of a car diet. Too many reckless drivers and no enforcement. Poor pedestrian :(

Need more information. Does the pedestrian Walk light need to stay on longer? Was the driver at fault? Do the circumstances of the accident lend support for a change of some kind at this intersection?
