City of Newark assigned this issue to Code Enforcement

Note the request is at 114 Neptune not 116. It is a city owned vacant lot.

An inexpensive 6' chainlink fence wild keep people from dumping. It is a continuous problem. Please help us, no one should have to live next to this.

It has been 60 plus days, we have called and spoken with Kevin a supervisor at DPW who insisted this lot is privately owned. Join further investigation the info in the DPW system for this lot according to Kevin has the wrong lot number. The tax records and previous requests show that this lot is owned by Newark. The situation is just getting worse, see attached photos. This is not right for the residents living here. The tree is dropping berries into the yard which could be hazardous if one of the kids eat them. Weeds are over 4 feet high. The lots address is 114 S 15th St Newark, NJ

The weeds were cut and most of the garbage cleaned. The trees were not trimmed though. Please trim the over grown trees in the lit. They are touching and hanging over the neighboring properties. The over grown trees are now an expense for us to trim the portion grown over to our yard.
