Description
This property has been an eyesore for years now. This vacant lot, formerly owned by the Elks, now has an unsecured hole that holds a foundation and also has 3 foot vegetation. This property is know to the city as it was going into Land Court for the vegetation reasons in 2019. What can be done to remove the mounds of dirt with exposed siding, trim all vegetation, rid the grounds of the groundhog that has now made a burrow there, protect the neighborhood kids from falling and help alleviate insects that should be forthcoming soon?

The hole has now been filled. Most of the dirt with exposed siding has been used as the fill. A flatter grade could be done with the rest of the dirt with the siding. This would preclude the forming of standing water which serves as a breeding ground for household pests. The lot has been trimmed but in front of the fence and more of the vegetation needs cutting.
I thank any and all individuals responsible for the current efforts and welcome continued and sustained maintenance like the lots that abut this parcel.

The grading hasn't been updated to alleviate the standing pool of water. A gate was added to help keep people out of this area. The vegetation still needs to be cut down to the left side of the weeping willow when standing in the street facing the parcel.
It's about 2-3 feet tall!! When I made my last post something was done within 24 hours. Can remedial action be taken just as quick by our city and/or the land owner? I thank all that have and can impact this quality of life issue for myself and all who live near by.
