You should contact you Council person & Committee person & explain to them what happened --- then if they don't help you I think you should contact the Police Dept in your district .

You need to call the police every time and document. Email council person and document. Email police and document. I know this has been going on for awhile because I’ve see other posts. Don’t give up. Hoping things get better for you.

Thanks for your suggestions. The police actually called me back and said loud music is allowed to be played until 10pm. They won't do anything.

Nope... under Jersey City ordinance, you are entitled to quiet enjoyment of your home. If you can hear the music while you are inside, and it is above a certain decibel level (you can download an app on your phone to measure this, or invest in a device, not too expensive) and document this as well. Look up the ordinances. Know your rights.

People count on you not knowing anything and not being organized. Knowledge is everything.
