After concluding an investigation of the property in question, the owners of the property have been sent a courtesy notice to maintain the lawn. If not in compliance after a set period of the City of Ferndale will cut the grass at the cost of the property owners.
A follow up inspection has been scheduled.

This was not about the lawn - this was about the tires piling up on in their parking lot right next to the sidewalk.

Update: I have spoken with owner of the tire store, he is in process of removing the tires.

Update: With the exception of 4 remaining tires, that are to be picked up by the Tire Outlet's scrapping company, the front of the lot has been cleared.
This property will continue to be monitored by Code Enforcement to insure compliance.
