Description
Main St. is the gateway to future Alameda Point development. The area from the WETA parking lot to the Main gate is strewn with trash, abandon cars and some homeless. The area invites illegal dumping of appliances and garbage. Rats can be seen daily. Trash begets trash. Is there a plan to clear it out, clean it up, add cameras to track illegal dumping and squatting, and police/mental health enforcement? This gateway to the future could look like Home Depot Oakland. With a spirit of civic pride, let's not let that happen!
