Deskripsyon

The asphalt is buckling on northbound Wyoming at the transition from concrete to asphalt, particularly in the right hand land. You fixed this in the southbound lanes a few months ago by grinding the asphalt flush with the concrete. I am expecially concerned because it is like hitting a speed bump on a motorcycle. This is near the northwest corner of the store/gas station. Thank you.

The Street Division identified the asphalt buckling related to the street sinking at the water lid. The issue was referred to the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority for repair. For additional information, the ABCWUA at 842-9287. Thank you.

This is NOT at a water lid. It is a line of pavement that is pushing up along the joint with the concrete. If you want I will take a picture and send it to you. When I hit it on my motorcycle it is like hitting a speed bump. There are no water valves in the area. It is the exact same situation that you fixed on the southbound lanes. It appears the pavement there was grinded down to make it flush with the concrete. Please do the same on the north bound lanes, particularly in the far right hand lane, just before the street on the north side of the gas station.

I sure wish this would be fixed. The hot weather seems to be pushing the asphalt higher. It is like hitting a speed bump on a motorcycle, very dangerous. Thank you.
