There is a (memorial) bench near here (hidden by garden) that is tilted downwards and sideways, and low to the ground, making it hard to get to for senior citizens because they have to stumble over muddy uneven ground. Would be so great to have a bench near the walking path for walkers to be able to rest while walking the path.
We would like to donate the bench and install, but I have left a message and received no response. My 92 year old father walks the path every day and would love to have a rest stop. He's begging to throw money to make it happen before he leaves this world. Any chance someone can help an old fella out?

Municipal trash can/compactor is full at bus stop. Has been full for some time and smells really bad.

These signs are all over the city requesting that people report violators. The sign says:"It's the Law!" Clean up after your dog. If it's the law, who enforces it? How is it enforced? Especially if you can't even get thru because it's not an active #. I'm regularly passing dog walkers who don't pick up. There are plenty of shoe bombs on the path- not sanitary and awful for the pond .

Homeowner has placed trash by the curb that either blew into the street or tipped over into the street. Cars are driving over it and dispersing the garbage

Ever since St. Peter's made a policy of "no smoking" on hospital grounds, their employees have been crossing the street to smoke under the canopies of the businesses along New Scotland Avenue. In doing so, they drop their cigarette butts and gum all over the sidewalk. The business owners have complained to Saint Peter's, to no avail.

This is not only a health hazard for residents walking along the sidewalk and having to breathe cigarette smoke, but going in and out of any business is also unpleasant. The clouds of smoke hover, and customers should not have to be exposed to this unpleasantness. The smokers gather in clusters all day long, and the sidewalks are a disgrace.

I suggest the city make a NO SMOKING area from the corner of New Scotland at South Manning, to New Scotland at West Lawrence. Punishable by a fine.

Saint Peter's has a responsibility to create a smoking area for their employees. Their problem should not compromise taxpaying businesses, or make our neighborhood look like a developing country.

It wasn't so bad when the policy began but this winter dozens of smokers congregated regularly in front of Subway, and yesterday the sidewalks were a disgrace.

At the intersection of New Scotland Ave, there is a space that is closed in by a set of double yellow lines. Often, drivers mistake this for a left turn lane. Another misleading factor is that two sets of traffic lights face this side of the street, also adding to the confusion about whether or not this is a turn lane. I myself make a left there, but from the main lane, because it would not make sense to cross the double yellow lines. This can potentially cause an accident if two cars are turning left next to each other, or if one sneaks up fast on the left as another is turning. Please create markings that clearly show if this is indeed a left turn lane and if not, remove the traffic light in front of it and mark the lane so it is not mistakenly used as a turn lane.
