    Alliance Catholic CU has installed new LED.parking.lot lamps. they replaced shielded pole lamps that limited light to their parking lot. now, super bright light throws blinding light into our home on Lysander as well as deep into our property. This violates building code. These new lamps need to have shrouds added that block light that spills into the neighborhood. An example that works is the LED street light in front of our house. It illuminates the street to the sidewalk and fades to darkness before it reaches our house. Please investigate this and offer a solution to maintain main street commercial property to residential district transition. Thank you.

    Neighbors on Terry St have informed me there will be excavation work at Terry and Mahaffy on the storm drain system.
    Because all runoff travels below my residence on Lysander before heading to the Paint Creek, I like to stay informed that proper retention of storm water is maintained before Lysander St. The pond in Howlett Park has been the solution to control back up on our property in the past. I would like to know what the current plan will insure this does not change.

    The city planted Maple with girdles root is in need of replacement. I would like to discuss the possibility of moving the tree pictured closer to the house to replace the city tree.

    The Red Maple that was confirmed having a choking root is struggling. Can Davy take a look at it to see if more of the culprit root can be cut to relieve the stress the tree is suffering. Thanks!

    Lysander Street needs 3 additional street drains in addition to the one at 123. they need to be placed east of driveway aprons to keep heavy rains from rushing down north side driveway aprons, flooding properties. This is being submitted for insurance records. The DPW has been made aware of the stormwater issue on Lysander. Thank you.

    Davy Tree looked at the issue for the City and trenched it so I could water it daily until they came back to remove a girdling root. When can I expect this to occur. The tree is obviously struggling and it is too nice to see die a slow death. Please expedite!

    the new LED streetlight is a marked improvement compared to the old Sodium lamps which broadcast deadening light all over our house. this new light fixture dampens light hitting our house - see images) The only suggestion is to warm the light (the daylight blue is pretty harsh).

    DTE began replacing old power poles over a year ago. the old poles (half cut), with utility cables attached remain and need to be transitioned and then removed. Old ATT phone lines need to be removed as well.

    The new street light on a pole in front of our house (across the street). is causing extreme light pollution on our residence. I request the City or DTE fashion a shroud to deflect light downward and off my house. I took three images last night directly under the lamp that demonstrate the circle of illumination. Please do what is necessary to remedy this issue.
