Received vmail at 7:06 am on Thursday, May 9, 2024. I live on Main Street. I am going to have the City fence that is around part of my property sprayed, and I noticed that there are some rotten boards and some of the little squares that are on top of the main posts that go throughout the fence have rotted. So I wondered if some men could come out and repair anything that has been damaged, so that we can take care of the spraying.

The signal is operating split phase E/W. There are signs to yield on green ball. This is confusing - sometimes the signal is split phased, and sometimes it is not. So there are times when the opposing phase is green and sometimes it is red. There is no way to know it is red, and the driver doesn't know that the opposing approach is stopping so they have to hesitate since the sign says to yield on the green ball.

"We spoke a few months ago. I told you that there was blockage of water from the Brookshire pond, and you said you sent maintenance over, and they said there's no problem. Well, actually, there are lots of beavers there. I had them taken off my property, but now there's another dam at the sound end of the Brookshire pond. It's still blocking water. It won't go down. It's still going over my driveway. Also, the exit culvert for the pond was over 90% blocked. I removed that. It took me a few hours, but I removed that and it didn't get the water down, because upstream there's still a beaver dam. So would you please get back to me. I'm really having a hard time."

    Hi!
I work at Creekside Elementary school and we have noticed over the last few days that the flashing lights that are supposed to work during arrival and dismissal are off quite a bit. We saw them going off this morning about an hour before school started. We were so busy we didn’t notice if they were lighting up during arrival. We’ve also seen them flashing during our lunch time, way before dismissal. Can someone fix those?
    Thank you!!

Especially during the afternoon, there are LOTS of people not obeying the 20mph school zone. This creates a dangerous situation for students walking from the school to their parent/caregiver's cars parked along this road. Not only that, with people speeding, it makes it more difficult for caregivers leaving the school to do so. This causes a backup at the school during pick up itself.

If possible, please install ticket cameras here to catch speeders.

At the point where 267 Pl SE becomes SE 12 Way there is no street name sign to indicate the street number change. The only way you know is by the way house addresses change, like 1203 267 Pl SE is next door to 26730 SE 12 Way.

Beaver Lake Middle School staff and Issaquah School District transportation staff are hearing reports that the city’s 20 MPH school zone signs are not illuminating at the correct times throughout the week. There are two school zone speed signs that are reported to be incorrect. Both signs are located on SE 32nd St / SE Issaquah-Beaver Lake RD. One sign faces WB traffic, the other sign faces EB traffic.

Supposedly these signs are illuminating up to an hour late after the school has already begun session. For reference are the normal school hours: M,T,Th,F from 8:10AM-2:35PM. Wednesday from 10:20AM-3:30PM.

This issue is creating a hazard where motorists are speeding through the school zone during heavy pedestrian traffic. Can you could please connect me with the right department so that we can ensure the traffic lights are working correctly?
