Plattsburgh Ave remains a 30 mph zone with motorists routinely speeding in excess of 50 mph (estimated). The southern tip of the belt line was recently reduced to 25 mph in an effort to get motorists to slow down as they enter park street. Why is Plattsburgh Ave still a 30 mph zone when it is a residential neighborhood?

There is lots of broken glass in the street and on the sidewalk near 154 Plattsburgh Ave. glass is located on the west side of the street.

Fire hydrant on the corner of Meridian st and Sunset dr is leaking.

The new fence around the Start Farm dog park is wonderful!!! My only suggestion would be to either add a double gated “air lock” to the access gate on the western side of the park, or to post a sign asking visitors to please use one of the main gates. In the last couple of days we’ve seen people enter the park through the western gate and are always worried a dog might slip out. If adding an airlock to that area is feasible, perhaps you could relocate the existing air lock from the northeastern corner of the smaller area to that western gate? Either way, the improvements to the park are top notch, and we really appreciate them! Thank you so much!

Please prune the maple tree that is just inside the smaller area of the Starr Farm dog park. There are many low hanging branches, and I almost knocked myself out when standing up from picking up dog poo.

The speed limit of Plattsburgh Avenue is 30 mph. The eastern side of Plattsburgh Avenue has no sidewalk. Residents of Saint Francis Park and the neighborhood to the north have no crosswalk or crossing signal to use in order to access pedestrian infrastructure on the western side Plattsburgh Ave. Please install a pedestrian crossing signal and crosswalk at the intersection of Turf Road and Plattsburgh Avenue. Also, why is the speed limit on Plattsburgh Avenue 30 mph and not 25? This is a high density residential area with many children. Drivers frequently exceed 30 mph as they come off the belt line and continue all the way to North Avenue.

There is broken glass in the sidewalk and greenbelt. Many dogs and children frequent this area. Major cut hazard.

There is a bunch of broken glass in the road on the northern side of Northview Drive at the intersection of Woods Street.

There is a dead skunk in the greenbelt next to light pole # 03764 on Plattsburgh avenue.

The recycling truck can through this morning and dropped some glass in the street.

Found a syringe just outside the gate of the New Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please come pick it up.

The recycling truck came by yesterday and left little piles of glass all over the neighborhood. There are lots of children riding bikes and plenty of dogs as well. Please send someone to clean it up.

Found syringe on the north curb of Dewey drive right next to the sewer drain grate at the corner of Dewey and North Ave.
