I drove through here Tuesday night, southbound, and observed no fewer than five jaywalkers who were perilously close to my car. There should be an easier, safer alternative than jaywalking here. With so much pedestrian traffic, perhaps a grade-separated crossing is appropriate .

A pedestrian wishing to cross from the NE corner to SE corner of South Street and Blount St cannot see any signals, pedestrian or vehicular, to indicate if it is safe to cross. This would be a very good place for a pedestrian signal, especially considering the volume of pedestrian traffic in the area.

The sign here to direct WB traffic to exit to Dawson St. S. Saunders St is completely blocked.

The left crosswalk sign is knocked over - unless it's been fixed in the last couple of days.

For southbound traffic on S. West St at W Martin St, there is a one-way sign above the stop sign. This sign should not be there because it is confusing. It is confusing because southbound drivers can turn both right and left. Northbound also should not have the sign for the same reason. A directional sign to the depot would be appropriate.

The light is completely dark

During the "don't walk" blinking phase, the countdown always shows 9. This is at the SW corner of Person and Lenoir, for persons crossing Person.

I got lost at this intersection because I followed the trail around the back of the school from the south and intended to turn right at this intersection but turned left because I was unfamiliar with the trail route. This would be a good place for a wayfinding sign like the one pictured, pointing north to Chavis Park, south to McMakin St, and east to Walnut Creek Wetland Center.

The signal control box is beeping about every second.
