  • Eddy St & Jones St San Francisco, CA, 94102, USA - Downtown
Severe impalemenylt hazard on se corner of Hiedekker Park basketball court. This is well within the range of the basketball playing area, and the metal post sticking out of the ground could easily impale a player running afteraloose ball. This needs to be cut down or capped and made visible.

  • 1701-1749 Le Roy Ave Berkeley, CA, 94709, USA - Berkeley
There are several nails (three at least) driven into the asphalt on Le Roy that are level but not seated (there is a space between nail head and surface.) This is another old but old practice along this stretch of road. Are these necessary for surveying and is there an alternative? Also, the surface between Le Conte and Ridge Rd on Le Roy looks like an alligator skin. There is no sidewalk on a significant stretch if this road. And there are a lot of elderly visitors and residents. It would be nice to get it resurfaced. Thank you.

  • 3600 Telegraph Ave Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Mosswood
Hole in sidewalk in front of WIC office (across from CHP station). Currently has orange cone placed in it as a warning, presumably, but that is not sufficient . My Mom twisted her ankle in a hole in front of this office in the 70s (and do have I.) It appears to be a thing. Any chance of miyigating the hazard a little more than inverted cone?
  • Sidewalk - Damage Acknowledged

  • 727 35th St Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Hoover-Foster
Protruding silver metal "rod" has been deliberately set in concrete on the east side of West Street. It presents a pedestrian hazard at the very least. It should be either mitigated with additional structure or removed. This particular piece of metal has been replaced at the same location over many years. It has been problematic for just as long. I would guess it would make sense to find out what the purpose of it is, but in any case it is an easily unseen or unnoticed obstruction in a pedestrian path.
