  • Fire Hazard Archived
79 Pleasant View Avenue Braintree, Massachusetts, 02184 - Braintree
House burnt beyond repair on Christmas 2020, It has not been touched in the 2 years since then and is an extreme hazard, eyesore, and danger to children who may want to play or "check it out". I do not think the owners are going to do anything with it as it is listed for sale. The town needs to require the owner of the building to tear it down as soon as possible. A vacant lot would be easier for the owner to sell.

Good afternoon. Over the past 3+ months, there have been two abandoned vehicles at the intersection of River & Middle Streets in Braintree. The vehicles are parked on opposite sides of the intersection. These vehicles have not moved at all during this time period, including snow storms.
Vehicle 1: Toyota Camry MA Registration 2DAR95
Vehicle 2: Dodge MA Registration 4BZ876

Is it possible to contact the owners of these vehicles and have them removed?

    Thank you

Given the town’s financial situation, it might be worth looking into posting a price for EV charging. The town’s EV charger at city hall is set to provide electricity for free and that cost is taken out of everyone’s taxes. The tax payers should not be responsible for filling up anyone’s vehicle. Thank you.
