City of Milpitas PLUS

3 homeless people are lingering around, please help them relocate since it is very close to a safe community with young kids. They also accumulate a lot of dry hay for fuel and it is a fire hazard for the hwy 237 above it.

Homeless encampments

The homeless encampment on both sides of Ames avenue by the railroad track and creek has become a public hazard. Smoke has been noticed several times coming from under the bridge. Trash is strewn everywhere. Dangerous items with sharp objects embedded have been found in the grass areas between the encampment and Milpitas Blvd. including a block of wood with razor blades embedded with sharp side up. Dog treats and other food items are left where shelter dogs can find them, resulting in illness in one of the dogs who consumed a purina bone that had been treated with unknown substance. HSSV walks dogs in these grass areas. Employees and volunteers no longer feel safe walking in this area unless in groups. Please help.

Encampment on other side of fence. Constantly leaves garbage on sidewalk daily. No point in cleaning up the garbage when reported as it will be back because of the encampment. Please deal with the encampment ASAP.

This issue still needs corrective action.

A large white tent and couple smaller tents ofhomeless encampment. Seems the encampment is growing since last month!

Persons smoking cannabis in the park.

Please have police to arrest or shoeing people smoking cigarrettes, vaping at the children playing center. I can identify this man who smokes there approximately between 6:30-8 pm daily. I am afraid lung cancer caused by second hand smoke will affect all the children at the park. Can the city arrest/shoe smoking people at the playing center of the park?

Dear officers,

We heard and saw fire burning in the trash can that is at the cross between Montague expy and Piper dr(across from the Bart station of milpitas and sitting outside of EDGE apartment. Along with neighbors, we put out the fire with water but you can tell from the water mark and the burned stuff in the trash can there was fire .
Please help us investigate this issue.
