Area of sidewalk always flooded or frozen making it unsafe.

The sidewalk from North Avenue through Village Green on the right side of the street when entering the Village Green from North Avenue is nonexistent beyond 5 Village Green. This causes a large disruption of the walking flow in the neighborhood. The sidewalk that is there is in good condition. The lack of sidewalks continues onto the right side of Brandywine Street.

This stretch of sidewalk from the corner of Cedar and Lafountain down past the drive to 80 is in rough shape and should be on the list for repairs.

Sidewalk is almost completely gone and a trip hazard, on a very busy road leading to City Market.

Sidewalk in front of Edmunds on South Union has been filling with water for years causing almost 20 feet of ice to form. As I was going by, an elderly resident was forced to walk on the grass area, which is also covered in ice/snow. Please remove water for now and replace tiles this spring.

I broke my ankle on this uneven, deeply cracked section of sidewalk. There are worse cracks and holes along this stretch of sidewalk and on Rockland St., but this is the hole that got me. Please replace this stretch of sidewalk. Thanks.

Planning for sidewalk repair

Sidewalk off East Avenue that connects hospital with street is being washed off. Conditions of path are unsafe to pedestrians- contacted hospital security to inform and was instructed to reach out to the city. We are really hoping that this VERY IMPORTANT AND HIGHLY TRAFFICKED USAGE is properly addressed. thank you!!!

I’ve left a voicemail message but I’m reaching out via email.

My 89 yr old mother is a resident at McAuley Square and walks daily from her home. She was out yesterday morning and lost her footing on sidewalk that is in need of repair. The sidewalk is near the corner of Mansfield Ave & Colchester Ave.

I’m writing you in hopes that this situation will shed light on the danger to pedestrian foot traffic. It is also my hope that the repairs needed will be done sooner vs later to avoid someone else getting injured.

There are two panels that are cracked and sinking causing tripping issues. Please repair.

This is just one small area of the sidewalk on Rockland—all of Rockland Street and all of the south side of Van Patten (leading to Rockland) from the intersection with Brook Drive is a complete mess. Nearly all of the squares are broken, some not just uneven and cracked but actually missing large pieces (up to half the square in multiple places). It’s dangerous as it’s not only very uneven, but the holes fill and freeze over with ice on the winter, and are very messy and muddy in the spring/summer/fall. Especially treacherous or impossible for strollers, small children, or elderly residents to use these sidewalks. Please help!
