    There is an ongoing and worsening skunk problem in the Elmwood neighborhood, particularly on Willow Street, Laurel Street, and Brown Ave. there are packs of skunks roaming at night and it is getting worse with trash pick-up delays. Skunks are bold and seemingly unafraid of humans or dogs. Many roadkill incidents arising from this issue.

    A female mix dog appears to be leashed and left outside(front) in the dark for hours in the early evenings the past 2 nights. No lights were on in the house, and she appeared cold and scared. She is friendly, but will only come to you once you begin to walk away. She also seems frightened and shakes.

    I was walking by the new es bank down by wisterahirst museum and saw a dead cat I by the front of the bank across the street from the corner store right next to the sidewalk. I hope you can pick it up and depose of it properly. Thank you.

    I heard that the apartments on the corner of Chestnut and Lyman Street have been boarded up ; but there are cats that were left inside. They have no food or water ; and I was hoping that you could contact a local animal shelter to come and save them from starving to death. Please help ..... 😢

    Bruin snuck out last week and we were hoping he would return home by now. He is 2 years old, long hair, neutered, and has a shaved belly from a fur trimming. He not an outdoor cat! He does know his name and may respond to it. We live on Laurel St in the brick house next to the park. Please contact me anytime of day if you have seen him, 413-687-3752.

    There is a raccoon in the sewer drain across from 134 West Meadowview Drive. It has been in the sewer since at least 10 am and as of 6:30 it was still there. Does not appear to be injured. Unsure if this requires help but also unsure of how it would get out

    Not very healthy looking coyote has been seen frequently during daylight hours on Liberty and Dartmouth Streets as well as Wyckoff Park in Holyoke in recent weeks. It seems to keep its distance from humans but the frequent visibility which seems out of character is of concern.
