  • 1840-1856 Northampton St Holyoke, MA, 01040, USA - Holyoke
This stretch of sidewalk between 1823-1859 Northampton street needs to be replaced. Foot & wheelchair traffics are high as this being near the intersection between Northampton St. and Beech St. it is hard to clean the snow during the winter because of the concrete pavement is no longer there plus the roots have uplifting the sections more than one inch vertically step.
  • 60-66 Jackson St Holyoke, MA 01040, USA - Holyoke
This road is a mess potholes everywhere. The street is Jubinville not Jackson St. I know its a back road but there are businesses here and we have to travel this road everyday. The wear and tear on our cars suspension is outrageous. I've worked in this area over 20 years and its always been the same.

  • 25–33 Lincoln St Holyoke MA 01040, United States - Holyoke

    Copied from Facebook Hello Holyoke:

Hello Joshua A. Garcia and City of Holyoke DPW. I am curious if there are any plans to resurface Lincoln street near Northampton street. Driving towards Stop and shop on the first block of Lincoln there are some very large and deep potholes forming, as well as the road appears to be crumbling down the middle. The sewer is also sinking into the ground in front of one very large pothole. This has been an issue the last year if not longer and it would be nice to see this get fixed or at least patched for winter. I have attached photos for reference, I placed a full sized work glove in the hole to show the depth/size of pothole.

    Thank you.-

Car with New Jersey plates needs to be towed
  • 795 Homestead Avenue Holyoke, MA, 01040, USA - Holyoke
I ran onto this pothole on 2/8/22 around 9:30 pm. I got an immediate flat tire, had to pull over, and in freezing temperatures (around 28 degrees F). All alone, I was struggling to inflate/temporarily fix the tire with “Fix-a-Flat”, which was frozen and wasn’t coming out. I had to leave my car in a nearby parking lot and have my wife drive me home, and had to tow the car the next day to PepBoys. The parking lot I left my car on had a lady waiting to be picked up, also with a blown tire - she presumably ran onto the exact same pothole. My wheel ended up being irreparably warped/bent and tire irreparably blown. The amount of time and money we lost, as well as the emotional and physical toll I endured (I have Raynaud’s syndrome, so I risk having a frostbite with even above-freezing cold temperature) is appalling given the fact that someone already submitted a claim for the exact same pothole 9 months ago! I pay my taxes and expect better than that. I request my expenses to be reimbursed and the pothole fixed immediately.

Former utility repair never completely filled in. Two sunken strips that are hard on front end alignments. Reported 2 years ago. They filled 1/2 of one of the strips.
  • 185 Pine Street Holyoke, MA, 01040, USA - Holyoke
Dead trees on tree belt. This is the worst one, others on the block are heavily diseased.
  • 753 Dwight Street Holyoke, MA, 01040, USA - Holyoke
Corner of Dwight and Pine, recently planted tree that didn't make it. It happens! Should be easy to take down and replant another?
  • 171 Pine Street Holyoke, MA, 01040, USA - Holyoke
Another of the recently planted street trees hasn't made it. This is at the YMCA. An easy win to take down and replace! So many of these new trees have made it, but here and there a few haven't.
  • I-391 Holyoke, MA 01040, USA - Holyoke
Intersection needs to be restructured or redesigned. I have had too many close calls here. Light was green when I was half way down the exit ramp. I was turning left so I slowed down because I know how traffic is and a tractor trailer was coming down Main St not slowing so I stopped in the middle of the intersection.. Truck just floated right thru the red light he had.Traffic that is traveling on Main St NEVER stops when the lights are RED. I have had to slam my brakes here almost daily when I'm coming off of I-391. Lights are useless something needs to change.
