City of Dunwoody PLUS

The north side of the Old Springhouse Lane between Chamblee Dunwoody Rd and Rochelle Drive has been repaved by a contractor so badly that one cannot drive a bicycle, scooter, or car on it without the threat of crashing. The sidewalk is also uneven and sloppily repaired after heavy equipment crushed it. The surface and the sidewalk need repairing to make smooth, safe travel possible. It is a safety hazard to anyone who uses it. This is a roadway safety issue, a pavement problem, and a sidewalk safety problem. It is also a terrible looking entrance to our neighborhood.

I live across the street from 4727 Tilly Mill Rd. The street blacktop in front of 4727 Tilly Mill Rd. was completely torn down & repaved less than 2 years ago. There has also been supplementary work completed in this same area less than 6 months ago and within 6 months the pavement has again broken apart and is sinking. When vehicles pass over this area the tire noise can be heard inside my house especially when heavy trucks pass over the broken pavement. I am requesting that this blacktop area be re-inspected & repaired correctly so we do not continue to have the same re-occurring problem. The newly paved portion of Old Spring House Ln closest to the Chamblee Dunwoody Rd intersection is already full of cracks.

Potholes in Southbound thru lane on N Shallowford under I-285.

Water pipe thing sticking up with no cap on it ready to blow out tires and bust some wheels on Mt Vernon as you cross the intersection headed Eastbound.

Broken pavement.

Pavement low spot collects drainage water and sediment. Pavement is not graded to allow water runoff into drain down the street. Creates obstacle and haven for mosquitoes. Please fix!!!

My house is on 1823 Mount Vernon Rd. The concrete that was poured by the city about 6 years ago cured in an Inverted-V shape and as such scrapes the bottom of my car everytime, as shown in the picture. Also, the transition from my driveway to Mount Vernon rd is about 2 inches high, causing a hazard for my little children riding bikes into the road. We will need the city to address this ASAP.

There is a hole on the newly paved part. It seems that it is missing the cover for a water valve or some other utility.

Manhole cover on newly paved part is not level with the road surface and creates a big drop when driving over it that damages tires and suspension.

Barrels have been on the path for four or five months. Just curious about the plan for fixing the cracked pavement.
