General Park IssueAcknowledged5321 Roberts Dr Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - DunwoodyI visited the playground at Dunwoody Nature Center on 12/7/2025. It was a bit wet but not overly so (it hadn't rained in at least a few hours). There is some space between the ramp and the ground that causes it to be a bit bouncy and the grade of the ramp is a little too steep for wet conditions. I was walking normally and slipped and fell hard, and then later my friend's two young children also slipped even though they were trying to be careful having seen me slip. I could step over it, but the children's legs were too short to step over it. I wonder if there's some type of rubber gripping that would make it easier to walk over the ramp but not cause any accessibility issues for mobility chairs that need to go over the ramp. Or to make the ramp longer and the grade of this entrance part not as steep of a grade.

Park entrance fence restricts inclusive access:
This park entrance at the end of Meadowcreek Lane uses an older fence configuration that restricts access for people walking bicycles, using strollers, or using mobility devices. As a public park connection adjacent to an elementary school, this access point should support safe, inclusive use by people of all ages and abilities.
Current national park, trail, and transportation design guidance generally discourages narrow, offset fence openings that limit access and instead supports clear, unobstructed entry points for shared use. The existing configuration appears to be a legacy design that no longer reflects these modern best practices.
Please review this location and remove the current restrictive fence design in favor of an inclusive access solution that allows safe passage for bicycles, strollers, and mobility devices while maintaining appropriate neighborhood context.

General Park IssueAcknowledged4770 N Peachtree Rd Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - DunwoodyAt Brook Run Dog Park, water spigot in top area will not shut off and is flooding the area. Please @#$% and shut off.
Recommend putting this one out of use (inside and out of gates) so this will not continue into warm season. Plenty of other water spigots for use in giving pups water to drink. -

General Park IssueAcknowledged2869 Winter Rose Ct Atlanta, Georgia, 30360 - DunwoodyThis abandoned car has been parked in front of my house for a long time. I can't clean the front of my house properly because of this car parked there. I would like to draw the attention of the city to whether there are any rules for parking in front of other people's homes. I request the city to immediately remove the car and open it in front of my house.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to report damage to a sewer or drainage structure located in my yard that now presents a safety hazard and requires inspection and repair.
The damaged sewer/drainage system is located on my property at 4813 Glenbonnie Court. The damage occurred after a tree removal service working at my neighbor’s property, 4812 Glenbonnie Court, removed several trees. During that work, a heavy truck appears to have struck or driven over the sewer/drainage structure, causing visible damage.
At this time, the area appears compromised and may pose a risk if left unaddressed. Given the potential public safety and infrastructure concerns, I respectfully request that DeKalb County Watershed Management inspect the site and coordinate any necessary repairs as soon as possible.
I've included photos but please let me know if additional information is needed. I appreciate your attention to this matter and your assistance in resolving it promptly.
Thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely,
Mike Kaupe
