Despite repeated requests nothing has been done about the storm drain in front of my house at 50 Alston Avenue. Every time it rains we have a lake which eventually goes down leaving a layer of muck. Just removing the accumulated leaves and debris DOES NOT WORK! I've done that multiple times but as soon as it rains more debris accumulates and the lake is back! I'm going to start renting rowboats!
Please refer to See Click Fix Issue #4121625 for Engineering's note on 50 Alston Avenue. The issue above is about Yale Avenue and is quite old. We at DPW are the first responders. We check the top - outside of the drain to make sure nothing is clogging it. Then we refer the internal drain issue to Engineering where they do their assessment and cleaning. Thanks
