This Traffic Signal is under the responsibility of Becker & Becker. They have sub-contracted the work to Rizo Electric - who can be contacted at (203) 731-3131 if any problems occur.
The Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department will take ownership of this signal once the signal inspection is completed. So far, there have been signal issues on May 10, 12 & 19th, between 5-5:30 pm. In order for the city to take ownership, the traffic signal must pass inspection with no problems for 30 days. If a problem occurs during the 30 day period, the inspection time is reset and the 30 day period starts over again.
The Department defers to Rizo Electric if any prolems occur as it is currently not a city owned traffic signal. All posted issues with this traffic signal have been followed up by the department by contacting Rizo Electric.
