The pedestrian signal constantly beeps when it is not safe to cross the street, and then clicks when it is safe to cross. The incessant beeping echoes in Kelly's courtyard, keeping me up at night (I live in the Kelly House).

Is it possible to the signal to either beep or click ONLY when it is safe to cross the street?
