Descrizione

Do the city planners really expect this section of SW Topeka Blvd. to last beyond 2023? The condition of Topeka Blvd is horrible from 29th street going north to 21st street in both directions. It needs renewal in 2022 or 2023 no later please.

The section of street from SW 21st to 29th and SW 29th to 37th is in the CIP to be repaved in 2024. Engineering will keep ticket open as progress is being made or a definite time frame can be given.

As previously mentioned, the adopted 2023 CIP lists design work to occur in 2023 and construction in 2024 on the section of SW Topeka Blvd. between 21st St. and 29th St.

So apparently with this above response from the City, "Yes" they do expect it to last beyond 2023 and 2024. Unrealistic expectation but there you have it.
