Dear DaTruth,
For DPW to follow up with Code enforcement, can you provide the last name & address of the dumpers? If the trash is hauled w/no enforcement, it's like "permission" to have their own, private haulers. If DPW can cite them, it might discourage future violations...

If it was dumped on public property, it's a Oakland Public Works Agency issue. Code Enforcement goes after dumping and blight on private property. If you know who did the dumping you can give the info to the Oakland City Attorney's Office. Here's the info for one of the attorney going after illegal dumpers:
