The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request # 517592. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

Is this Oakland or Zoo jurisdiction, I wonder? Might try the Zoo administration route. I imagine they have some sort of long-term plan for addressing that road.
Received notice today that this issue has been "closed." What, exactly does that mean? Absolutely no work has been done on this street and conditions continue to deteriorate. Photo attached of what it looks like today. Please explain status!

Not to beat a dead horse here, but why was this issue referred to Code Enforcement? The "helpful links" provided don't seem to offer any "help" in terms of pavement repair. I appreciate the shortage of paving funds in Oakland (and look forward to passage of this fall's infrastructure bond to address that shortage). I'm glad to know the issue is on your radar and hope that it will not be closed, but rather kept open and repaired when funds are available.
Well, the issue is still open. The pavement here is still terrible. And Measure KK has been passed, so perhaps the powers-that-be can find a way to at least patch the worst potholes.
