The Code Enforcement Division addresses issues on maintenance of exteriors of private properties and inoperative vehicles on private properties. Obviously, you have never requested the VPD to assist with anything. You can not even get a timely phone response much less a timely physical response. The entire block is a haven for drug dealing, loitering, speeding and similar quality of life issues. If the VPD is the responsible department to monitor and address, unfortunately these systemic issues will continue until a more serious acute issue presents itself.

The Community Services Section of the VPD is very helpful with quality of life issues like these. Ask for Tina and if the VPD hasn't indeed been responding to your calls, tell her so.

553-7218. They're around weekdays. It may take a day or so for Tina to get back to you. It's really just her there but once you make contact she gets things done. They swept the park several months ago, just FYI, so the problem is ongoing.
