Description

Hydroplane potential under Foothill Blvd overpass while travelling from to I-215 South/I-80 West. For well over a decade now, during heavy rainfalls, the roadway directly underneath the Foot bridge where it crosses over I-80 has a serious drainage issue where the water flow streams down in a concentrated area and creates a very serious hydroplane potential. I was hoping this would have been addressed during the Foothill bridge reconstruction, so now hoping someone from your team will look at during the I-80 reconstruction. I was reminded again yesterday during a recent heavy downfall. I believe it could easily be tested in dry conditions with a water truck and a fire hose.
Thanks for your consideration and
Fingers crossed this can make into scope/budget of the current project
