Description

Commercial vehicles continue to park illegally in the same 3 block area of Madison Avenue. The ones by the driveway of 2954 and 3000 Madison Ave. condo complex have been reported for over a year. No ticket, no tow. The single big white commercial truck parked in front of Fairfield Village on Madison Avenue, (which has previously been reported and pictures have been sent in),instead of being ticketed or towed by the police, as you can see by the picture I just took on my way home has morphed into TWO commercial vehicles. Beyond them, you can see the white cab on the left-hand side of the road of the big car hauling commercial vehicle that was first reported November 8, yet is still parked there. Taxpayers of Bridgeport-aren’t you getting tired of paying high taxes to live in the north end while commercial vehicles ruin our neighborhood and we get no service from the mayor (because he is jaunting to Scotland instead of helping his tax paying constituents) and even though the police drive up and down Madison Avenue 24 hours a day nothing has been done about the situation. Contact the press, contact you representatives and contact a lawyer. Because obviously contact in Bridgeport 311 does zero unless you’re a commercial vehicle at which point you can break the law And park in residential neighborhoods in Bridgeport. Does anybody think this would fly in Trumbull or Fairfield or Westport or Shelton? If this issue has been reported in any of those towns, those vehicles would’ve been gone within 24 hours.
