I agree ... this is a dangerous spot because taxi cabs and other vehicles whip around the corner with won ton abandon to any notion of pedestrian safety. DPT needs to stop focusing on allowing vehicles to move as quickly as possible through the downtown area and allowing pedestrians to be endangered. This is when it hurts to not have residents working for the City - folks who work for the City and who live across the bridge are focused on their car needs to drive through downtown fast instead of considering residents and workers needs who travel on foot.
