We apologize for the delayed response. The problem with the path at Wurster Park has been documented and it will be added to our list of park projects. Please keep in mind that there are other projects that are currently a higher priority. We will keep this issue open until repairs are made.

This is an ongoing issue that has been occurring for years - the city repaves the pathway and then continues to run garbage trucks on it to empty the container at the top of the hill. Even with the smaller trucks, the path still is eroding and needs to be redesigned to be studier to take the load of the trucks (including in spring during the thaw cycles). Also a redesign needs to ensure the pathway is wide enough so the edges of the pathway are not stressed and crumbled by the weight of the trucks.
