Description

Every school day at approx 715 am, Malden Public School bus 409, double parks in the eastbound lane with its yellow flashers on waiting to pick up a student. The driver never pulls over to the curb and this causes traffic to back up in both directions. Traffic is bad enough at this hour and the bus double parked, waiting to pick up a student, with its yellow flashers on causes more problems. The bus waits several minutes double parked. Then drivers have to wait longer when the students gets to the bus and the bus driver turns on the red flashing lights. Maybe the driver can be told to pull over to the curb and wait. This is at the intersection of Mt Vernon Street which adds more to the problem.
