I would agree the sidewalk is unusable. I would, however, like to point out that 9504 is in a valley between the houses and all rainwater, sump pumps, etc seem to drain in that direction. As the homeowner, I dug trenches for drainage pipes and laid rock to eliminate the mud in my backyard. The water on the sidewalk is a demonstration of an effective drainage of everyone’s downspouts and drainpipes in the direction of my yard. The amount of water draining is the real problem since my goal was to direct it toward my front yard. I think this water on the sidewalk is a collective concern so I would hope that the county would address it with a raised sidewalk and directing the drainage toward a storm drain.
