I've tried to reach code enforcement via email which was rejected and via phone without a returned call. Is there a way to update me on the status of my concern?

Thank you for your comment. See Click Fix is one of the many tools available to the citizens of Vallejo to report non-emergency issues. We "close" a See Click Fix issue once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected. A Code Enforcement Officer has inspected the property on August 19th and has sent the owner a notice to cut the overgrown vegetation. Since this is private property, the City will seek voluntary compliance (of the violations) from the property owner to cut the overgrown vegetation. A re-inspection will be conducted on August 29th to check if these Code Enforcement violations were abated. This process may not yield a quick response, but we do our best to work with the property owner to get the violations corrected. Since this is private property, there is due process involved.
