I also asked this last year. The buses are unable to make the swing of the rear parking lot due to the configuration of it.

Fountain Street was not properly redesigned and striped in coordination with the school being rebuilt. The buses should have a pull-in area separated from traffic by a curb so traffic could pass by when students are loading and unloading. The lot should also be reconfigured so buses can utilize it better and not back up nearly to McKinley Avenue. Not to mention the crosswalks shortened so as to facilitate and make safer the crossing of Fountain Street by students and residents. Whole area around Emerson and Fountain needs to be redesigned, really. When the buses aren't there is almost as much of a problem since people then drive 40-50mph or faster.
