I've been trying for six months to get an appointment set up for a bulk pick up with the City of New Haven. Now, I'm told that i have to take time off from my job, got to public works, and pay a $50.00 fee. The web site mentions none of this. What is the City thinking? Don't they have some inkling that people are going to be dumping their bulk trash by the side of the road? Of course not. They don't live near there.
