For East Rock bicycle owners to be aware: Last night someone stole my bicycle handlebars (it was parked on Lawrence St near Orange St), and today I noticed that the handlebars from a nearby bicycle on Orange St near Edwards St experienced a similar theft (pictured here). A neighbor's camera captured footage of a hefty, muscular white man on a BRIGHT YELLOW BICYCLE stealing my handlebars at 4:20am on 7/16. Sorry if this happened to you too :(
