Thank you for acknowleging this problem - it would be very helpful if something is done to bring this property up to code

Every morming, while having cup of coffee, I have looked out over this mess for the past 10 years. If we have a dinner party, cannot open windows, blinds or curtains b/c of this mess. This trash has been here for over 10 years despite repeated requests to get rid of it. I shutter every hurricane season wondering if this garbage will come crashing thru my dining room windows on a gust of wind. Tired of living next to a ticking time bomb. Can you get these people to get rid of these inoperatble rusting objects?

Several questions:
1 - I submitted numerous photos of code violations of this property: and yet they are NOT displayed here: why? Were they viewed at the codes violation meeting? Or were they ignored. Was this property even discussed at the meeting? any resolution?
2 - This issue was orginally reported on 5/7/2014: here it is 11/19/2014, more that 6 months later and the property is worse than ever. Will the city take action to clean up this property before 2015?
3 - While having an online reporting system is desireable, when I look at the case number action all is see is: "" This level of detail is currently not available on-line. If you need this information please call Codes Compliance Assistance Department at (727) 893-7373. "" NOT available? Does that mean nothing is being done? And if something is being done, i'm sure the action/solution/ inspectors report is inputted in to a the code violations computer system. I'm sure the City is not on a manual hand written system! Can't your IT department do a simple LIST and display the inspectors report?

1 - you can submit one photo with the original issue report, and as many more as you like in the comments section. All photos are publicly accessible, so if a Codes investigator checks this website, they would see the photos.
2 & 3 - staff in the Codes department could try to address these if you contact them directly. The name and contact number for the Codes investigator assigned to this case were provided above, and you already have the main number for that department.

I agree, a simple inspectors report that is downloaded anyway should be easily programmed into software for reporter to see this list and where progress is being made.

I am most grateful to see the overgrowth problem being addressed as i write this. I talked the crew boss to make sure the overgrowth on the side of the house and garage will be taken care of. I also asked about the dead tree, he said he had no work order to remove the dead tree. THIS is an image of the dead fruit tree i am refer to . I see no life in this tree, do you? I think it should be removed being we are still in hurricane season [which ends 11/30] I and surrounding neighbors would prefer to see action taken NOW to remove dead tree. Hurricane season 2015 will be upon us before we know it and we do not want to worry about that tree damaging our respective homes when something could have been done to prevent it.......thank you for your consideration

Why are most of these posts complaints about people's houses? If it's their property they can do what they want with it. If you really care about it talk to them yourself.

Cant do what they want with their oroperties if they are in violation of city codes, cant believe some peoples stupidity

Unfortunately the city doesnt have a uniform way of enforcing codes ive seen them crucify my neighbors about their fire wood and ladders and few other tools they have neatly stored outside and then let other more serious violations go. My neighbor is being nailed by the city about 3 ladders and a mower he stores outside in his backyard but the guy across the street has similar items and mire stored outside in his front yard and the city does nothing to him.

Then you got these other idiots on here that seem to think they can do anything on thier properties regardless which isnt true as you have codes to follow
