The Macon-Bibb Engineering Department has determined the dead/diseased tree is on private property. The City of Macon Tree Ordinance, Section 14, states that any dead or diseased tree that poses a hazard to the right-of-way is considered a nuisance and therefore must be removed by the property owner.
