Description

It appears the city has stopped responding to click and fix tickets.
If we are not going to use this application we should shutdown the website.

The city put out a press release yesterday acknowledging this. See http://www.raleighnc.gov/home/news/content/CorNews/Articles/SeeClickFixBacklog.html

Putting something on the city website is not a press release. When I see this in the newspaper or on tv news, you may then close the ticket.

I didn't close the ticket, but I wanted to point out that yes, that was indeed a press release. "Press release" doesn't mean a newspaper printed it or TV news aired it. Raleigh has no control over what newspapers print or TV news airs.

I wasn't clear on who closed the ticket. Just putting something out on the city website doesn't qualify as a press release unless the city has notified the public in some manner. I'm certain the city has the manpower to respond to these tickets.
