LCI Watcher, this section of Whalley is not part of the Whalley Ave SSD, actually. Street sweeping and sidewalk cleaning needs to be coordinated between the City and State DOT somehow. Not sure who, if anyone, actually does the maintenance. Can you ask DPW if the ever schedule sweeping for this section of Upper Whalley through Amity?

I can't make any promises but my contact at Public Works tells me:

"we 'll find out if our guys have ever done it before(maybe they have?) and will go from there. If they are out in the neighborhood perhaps they can do a quick run around today or Monday..."

Rob, any clarity on whose responsibility this area is to maintain? Does DPW sweep regularly or does DOT have their own crews that are supposed to take care of this? Thanks.
